I was fortunate to get a sweep 3-0 on SEC picks last week. Let's try it again this week. BOL to all
116 Ole Miss -14.5/66.5 vs Memphis
Memphis were great last year but lost a great HC and a first-round QB who was LY responsible for more
than 4000 total yards and 30 TDs. The defense is loaded this year but the offense will certainly regress.
On top of QB Lynch's departure, the Tigers lost 3 of their top 5 pass catchers and 3 starters on the line.
A new QB and OL will hurt the running game which at times struggled last year. They have not played
any real competition yet this year; an FCS+Kansas+ down-rotten Bowling Green, so their stats for
this year are pretty much worthless.
LY the Tigers caught the Rebels off-guard in a convincing 37-24 home win. QB Lynch was on fire, hitting
72.2% of his passes for 384 yards and 3 TDs. His successor, Riley Ferguson, had left Tennessee and went
to junior college before joining the Tigers this year. He has been good this year but not really tested
yet with the kind of SEC defense. He does not scramble well, and stand behind a leaky OL is very risky,
and it showed with 9 sacks in 97 pass attempts.
This game match-up does favor the Rebels very well. Rebels defensive weakness is their run defense
and the Tigers running attack is mediocre at best. Memphis defensive weakness is stopping the pass,
and the Rebels is lethal through the air with QB Chad Kelly under center.
The Tigers will have theirs first defeat of the season, and it will be ugly.
Pick: Rebels -14 -115

181 Florida -9.5 at Vandy
The Gators just so much better than Vandy on both sides of the ball and at home, and still angry after
a devastating loss at Tennessee last week. It won't be any where close to the 9-6 Gators' win last year.
Pick: Gators -9.5 -115
