MISSOURI ST. AT SIU
MSU is going through a rebuilding year and playing plenty of freshmen. Their only win is at home against non DI Chadron St. 21-13. They've only played one game against as FCS opponent and that was last week at home in their Valley opener and lost 56-28 to Indiana St. This is going to be a long year for the Bears who I don't see winning another game this year.
SIU comes in with a 1-3 record that is a little deceiving. Their three losses were by a combined 5 points with one of them a 48-47 loss at Indiana. Their one win was at home against #10 ranked Liberty 34-13.
Stat wise MSU ranks 117 nationally and last in the Valley in total defense while SIU ranks 101 nationally and next to last in the Valley. The big difference in the two is in the offensive stats. MSU ranks 96 nationally and last in the Valley while SIU rankes 5 nationally and first in the Valley.
In short I look for a lot of points to be scored in this one with SIU putting up close to 50 themselves. The weather is supposed to be good at 69 degrees with only a 10% chance of rain.
