Vtech/Boise Thoughts

 I see alot of people are on Boise tomorrow night and I am kind of torn between the two because I see VaTechs running attack but then every single time I think a "powerhouse" is going to take out Boise the past couple years (Oregon, Tcu, etc.) they prevail so I am kind of baffled on which way to go...I can see it being high scoring with Taylor/Williams/Evans trio being effective (in a home game basically) along with Boise having some big plays (trick plays perhaps) against a VT defense who doesnt return too many players.  And this is not a "pass and gain information for the following weeks" game because it is the biggest game of the weekend so I am going to bet it lol so thought I would just throw it out to the forum to see if anyone cares to respond lol...

Not going to try and convince you, but for what it is worth I'm on Boise at a PK.  BOL either way you go.

Good idea to start a thread.  Hang tight and wait for some more info.  If I were as unsure as it appears you are I would not play the game.  You seem ready to play it though so I wish you all the best.  If you don't get much tonight, don't worry.  By tomorrow there will be plenty of info in the forums for you to make your decision

All I see and hear is Boise Boise Boise I'm sure va tech hears this as well I think this team will play with a chip on there shoulder, va techs running game is the key to the game for two Hugh reasons. 1 they will be able to limit the number of times boises offense getts the ball. 2. If u look at the 3 games Boise played last year vs good tuff running teams Idaho Nevada and Fresno they struggled big time and gave up a ton of yds on the ground. Now they did win those games though but va tech I think is better then Idaho nevada and Fresno . With Boise flying across country goin up a against a physical team Boise could be dog ass tired when quarter # 4 comes and Ryan Williams Darren Evans and david wilson could run wild in the 4th. It's goin be a hell of a game HOPEFULLY g/l which ever way u go brother

thanks guys...and cubs i like ur name lol...from a suburb of chicago and been a die hard cubs fans (for some reason) since i was born...maybe some day in our lifetime theyl win a world series but doubtful lol...anyways i was thinking the exact same thing you were...with idaho nev and fresno running wild...if those three did then i dont see how one of the best duos in the country wont along with a better overall team obviously lol...ps mets scored more today than many college football teams did this wkend lol....sheesh

Yeah screw the mets though lol, also I wouldn't overlook tyrod Taylor in this game the guy is 23-5 as a starter that's pretty impresive I don't think Boise has played a team like va tech before I think there in for a hell of a fight

I'll probly leave it alone but if i do play it i'd play Boise

I slightly lean to vt on the side, think there superior back field gets them the win. But my stronger lean is to the under. think this is a fairly low scoring game mid 40's.  

Bosie Bosie Boise ....I havent heard that all I ve heard is that VT is too strong for Boise well there like 53-4 overalll so if the spread is -110 for boise and + 140 VT there is no value in betting either way just stay away and watch it and enjoy the game bol eitherway

Ill be honest, I dont know lol.  How good is Boise State?  Playing one big conferance game a year and winning?  Everyone likes the underdog, but does one that knows football honestly think they can run the slate in a BCS conferance?

 People say that they can, but lets be real.  Regardless if they play one game against Oregon a year and win, they run the slate in their conferance.  Its like a monopoly.  They are that good.  But if stuck that team year in and year out, they are like a sub SEC team.  Im just speculating. 

Its a good cinderella story and I hope they do good.  Every team has different agendas, even in the bowl game.  Sometimes they hit a bowl they want, sometimes they fall short.  They play on that. 

Boise State is a good team and well coached.  New D coordinator though.  Football is funny because you can make an assumption, then it backfires.  A lot plays into this game.  Boise does go out east.  I dont think that will be a factor though.  They have been in Maryland for a few days.  Practicing and all.  People that think the coast change makes a difference, they are crazy.  The only sport that it makes  a difference in is baseball.  That is it.  That is the only time you will have a pro team finishing up at 12am and then flying cross country for a game. 

Boise wil be rested in this matchup.  I honestly dont know, but I would take my chances on Frank.  He always has his team prepared and now he has a good offense core that can push Boise score for score.  VT defense is better.  Its a good cinderella story and I dont knwo what will happen.  I dont have a play on it because I want to enjoy the game.  I do have Navey -6 though;) good luck.
