  • Mr. Hook and Mr. Alexander,

This was definitely an excellent podcast. I always look forward to the podcasts and discussions that involve Future Bets.  In my opinion a lot of value lies in Future Bets and like I told Mr. Bebe: there's nothing like earning that + MONEY on your original investment!

From the NFL teams that were discussed in this podcast to win the Super Bowl, do you two gentlemen also recommend Future Bets on the winner of the AFC Championship game and the winner of the NFC Championship game? Currently the Colts are at +450 to win the AFC, the Ravens are at +550 to win the AFC and the Chargers are at +550 to win the AFC. The Cowboys are at +450 to win the NFC, the Saints are  at +500 to win the NFC, and the 49ers are at +1200 to win the NFC. Looking forward to what you two gentlemen think about the odds for these teams and where value lies here. Thanks.

    Mr. Mendez

Mr. Mendez...thanks for the kind words...Hook will have his own thoughts I'm sure....for me, value is value, however, one of the reasons I never make bets on win totals, for instance, is that there's an opportunity cost to having 11/10 standard vig bets held out of pocket for an entire season...it's just not worth it to me....w futures, it's all about the bang for the buck, which makes the big returns one so enticing and worth the length of time that money is being "held"....with the conference plays, obviously, they fall somewhere in between, but if they make enough sense, then it's always worth pulling the trigger, but the conviction's gotta be there...of the ones you listed, as I mentioned on the show, I love the Saints and Colts and would be most averse to the Chargers and Niners....the Norv Turner factor kills me with the Chargers and while I think the Niners cakewalk to the playoffs in the NFC West, I just don't see them getting through the NFC gauntlet.....let's see what Mike has to say....thanks again for the thoughtful response, Mr. Mendez!

  • This podcast is OOZING with insight and information boys! Two of the best minds talking about what makes them the best. Well done.

P.S. - I love the VALUE on USC to win the BCS. Wink
