Hello Pregamers! Wow! It's now here. The most wonderful time of the year, CFB! And we got 5 months to go. Here is wishing all the BOL in your investments this season. Now its time to put the labors of the off season to work and reap a harvest that will be a profit in the end. Hay is in the barn fellas. Let's Get After Their Ass!
Thursday 9-3..Western Kentuck @ Vanderbilt
I understand the hype surrounding the WKU program for the upcomimg season. Returning 16 starters, along with QB Doughty, who passed for just shy of 5k yards last yr. (49-10 ratio), leading WKU to 5 straight wins to close the season @ 8-5, including, a Bahamas Bowl win over Marshall (67-66 in OT). I get it. Now, the CUSA Hilltoppers will travel to Nashville to take on SEC Vanderbilt as a Road Favorite. Vandy HC Derek Mason will begin his 2nd yr returning 18 starters. But more importantly, IMO, Mason's bunch has now had a full season in his schemes and now a full off-season as well. The Dores have more stability at many positions compared to last year, particularly at QB. Since the end of last season, Mason has taken a more hands-on approach to coaching, specifically on the defensive side of the ball. Vandy faithful are reeling after a 3-9 campaign in 2014, following 3 straight Bowl games under departed Franklin (PSU). IMO, this a huge game for Mason and the Dores, and believe they have enough to pull off the "W" in the front of the home folks.
VANDY +3...ANCHOR DOWN!!
MICHIGAN @ UTAH...
The HAR-BO era begins tonight in Utah for Michigan and their new HC. IMO, I see the game plan here much as we saw out of Harbaugh in his Stanford days, PHYSICAL. IMO, believe the Wolverines will attempt to shorten the game as well. IDK that Big-Blue can get "W" here on the road, but, I do like the total here.
UNDER 46...DEFENSE!!
