Good Evening Pregame, tonight marks the 9th season at Pregame that I'll bring in a New College Football season. I know I've been an AWOL kinda member around here over past few years, but I always love to come back and give my views whenever I can.
I've been a very busy guy away from Pregame and if you're interested in why, feel free to ask. I've been a member with many of you folks for a long time dating back I think to '03 with Johnny and the boys at Let it Ride, anyway I'm here going to try and maintain my contributions moving through the season. When I can I will provide analysis on games and some X's and O's, but I will say I can't always do this due to many commitments. However, understand I've been capping sports for the past 27 years, and i have learned a few things during that time I hope to share. I've been an online contributor in a couple locations for about 14 years. I've also been involved in the early Forum of this site, congrats to RJ and all the people that have been involved in the evolution of the site.
Anyway outside of sports betting and capping, I trade commodities on a daily basis for the past 17 years, so I'm entrenched in numbers. I'm not a super educated guy, in fact I come from a background of grinders and old timers from the Southwest Side of Chicago. I used to run the numbers route for my Dad and Uncle back in the 70's & 80's with my older brother, so I have some experience in the game. I served in the Military in the late 80's, and ran my first book there. That's my background, I've had a lot of successful years with this grind, and a few ugly one's. I've been an amateur, semi-pro, and pro capper on the web at varying different times since '03. One thing I've always been is a daily grinder on my own looking for the right number!
This season all I want to focus on is winning (+55%) by finding value in the number. It's kind of a different approach for me, as I used to spend a lot of time trying to focus on matchups and getting the right side. I believe and know after many years if you can get the right number 55-58% of the time you'll likely come out ahead. If you can't stand losing you need to leave my posts! We will lose and sometimes it will look ugly, but it if you grind for value on the number it all works out at season end!
In the past I've tried to educate players in here about bankroll and managing your money properly, truth is I can't stop an addict looking for that big score or bailout. My games are always ranked at 5 or 10 units, because I still use Ruth at TSM of Oklahoma for my monitoring. So a 5 Unit is equal to 1% of your bankroll and 10 Units is 2%. So with all of that crap, here is my first college football play of the '15 season. Best of Luck to all of you hope you get more wins than losses, thanks to all of those ole timers who stop bye, and you know who you are, I'll try to hang all season! Looking to close out my work career and retire soon; hopefully my health will keep me around as a continued resource of betting knowledge here at Pregame, as always best of luck on all your plays and don't spend your bankroll to soon. Remember 6-8% in play at any one time, don't chase NFL on Mondays and Never bet against a Monday Night Home Dog when your trying to bailout a bad week, especially if it is intra-division!
