Yesterday Cardale Jones made the decision to stay in school. Was it the right decision?
Cardale does have a strong arm, but he also runs a bit too much and his short passing game is not great. He also has played in just 3 games in his college career.
Scott states that there are two ways to look at this. One is he should stay because he is not an NFL ready QB and two is should he move on because he is so hot right now and he maybe never be hotter than he is right now.
Teddy did see reports that he would be just a lat 3rd day draft pick and some state he may not even be drafted. From that standpoint Teddy can see why he made the decision to stay, plus if Braxton Miller does move on then he will have another full year to be NFL ready.
Scott feels he is a good college QB, but trying to run over NFL defensive players is a whole different kind of game and that could lead to hi sitting on the bench and nursing concussion symptoms.
