Analysis: I used -120 because we might have to buy this. Again, I will take the team with the better defense. V-Tech just played Wake and UVA, two excellent defenses. Cincinnati's defense sucks. Yes, they can throw it around, but it's not like Tech hasn't seen that before. They beat North Carolina, who does the same thing. They only allowed 28 to East Carolina, who does the same thing. They beat Duke, who does the same thing. They only lost by three to G-Tech, who obviously has a complicated offense, too. Looking up and down the Bearcats' schedule, they played Ohio State (and lost) and NOBODY else. Their last two games saw them put up only 14 at Temple and then allowed 31 to a marginal Houston offense. They won their last seven, and probably were hoping for better than the Military Bowl. V-Tech beat UVA just to get here, and IMO are just riding a bit higher right now with far more to prove. They're 6-6 and don't want a losing season. If it were that easy, this line would be more than -3. Well, it was at one point and IMO they're not just buying the number here. Bearcats could easily win outright, and I'll take Beamer even at his age over Tuberville, who after falling from grace at Auburn hasn't had much success, and his only Bowl win has been the 2010 Ticket City Bowl with T-Tech. Beamer has now been in a Bowl Game every year since 1993, and now that they don't have Logan Thomas, I can bet on them.
