Good info on the weather, Razor. Do you like either of these dogs tonight?
Interesting that both Memphis and Cincy have very recently played SMU to pad stats. Memphis does not have a good run game, but has been decent in their passing attack with Paxton on point. Tulsa has given up the ghost in terms of recruiting a decent football team, but school is often considered Harvard of the west and high academics. Memphis defense has been pretty stout, but has had soft schedule. Do think the tigers are the better team, but 24 seems lofty, as 18 shall suffice - so paying a premium with inflated line after pony purification. Tulsa gives it up easy though, and teams usually score 30+ on the g-cane, but figure this one comes in somewhere around 38-17; or maybe lower if weather presents problem. Wind may affect WR corp, and Memphis will struggle if they have to rely on ground.
Every square I know is loading the boat on cincy thinking this is a no-brainer tonight. True, two-lane has historically been terrible, but close examination shows much improvement than years past. Wave has an emerging runner in Badle, w/ solid backup, and Cincy on road has been horrific. Something with this bearcat outfit that really doesn't impress, and the wave has avoided the really bad beats this year for the most part. For some reason, don't see a high scoring game down in the quarter tonight.
Truth, don't like either game; but do think both go under the total tonight, and worst case scenario a split of the ball bounces astray. Don't know if Cincy is a sucker bet or not, but two-lane not the patsy of Christmas past.
