Matt Jacob from Vegas 7 Magazine joins the show to break down today’s games.
Miami Hurricanes vs Nebraska Cornhuskers (-7.5, 56)
Miami is traveling to Nebraska for the first time since the 1970s.
The money is coming in on the Under in this game and Scott agrees with the move, stating that Miami doesn't have the QB that can hurt the Huskers, while Nebraska relies too much on their big pays to get scores.
Matt agrees. Nebraska has had 9 plays of 40+ yards this year already and have just 9 all of last year. Miami is not the Miami of old, but they are much better than the Huskers have faced so far this year and remember that Nebraska nearly lost at home to McNeese State.
The Miami defense struggled some in their opener vs Louisville, but have allowed just 259 ypg and 3.7 yards per play since then. Matt states that ya can't really trust the Miami QB. He expects them to run the ball a ton to shorten the game, which means a low scoring game could be in order.
Nebraska did beat FAU 55-7, but FAU had the kind of QB that will give Nebraska fits and went he went out the game was tied at 7. Nebraska is having troubles running the ball between the tackles this year. Scott feels the movement on the under is the right way to go in this game.
