Good 7-4 week last week. Week 4, more to come...
Auburn (-7) vs. Kansas State
Bought this down to -7, I really don’t know if it will be needed, but out of respect for K State’s covering ability as an underdog at home I had to do it. I just see Auburn eventually wearing this K State team down. K State is not an overly athletic team, it is just hard to imagine them containing Auburn for 4 straight quarters. Both have had bye weeks, which I think benefits us as Auburn should be itching to play, and this is not a look ahead spot with no SEC game the following week.
UConn (+110) vs South Florida
Picking UConn to win SU. UConn is limited offensively but has a very good defense. They made strides in the passing game last week, however. If they are able to limit USF’s rushing attack they should come away with the win as USF is a terrible passing offense. Overall you would give the athleticism a tilt in USF’s favor, but UConn is really disciplined on D and should be viewing this as an opportunity to get a W. Not much of a home field advantage for USF in that stadium either. With as young as USF is and as poorly as they played last week (especially at QB), I think the game is still a little too fast for some of these kids.
