Louisville losing to UVA did nothing to boost my confidence on Miami. They could not tie their shoes, run the ball, make a decent pass, tackle or do jack shit against Louisville and Nebraska is vastly better than them.
Lincoln a very tough place to play. NU's defense was very bad the last 2 years which is why UCLA pounded them last year...they year before it was an OT game and lest you forget NU lost QB Martinez in the UCLA last time they played which killed them.
Huskers home field worth 4 points gents. Not sure a frosh QB in that environment is going to be successful...you thought he was intimidated at Louisville wait till he sees Lincoln - I for one will be at this game as a FAN. I already won my Game of the Year on NU last week by 25 over the spread, and will only put this out for free later in the week....the points however are somewhat attractive on Miami. If you bet a moneyline you will lose on the Canes, I assure you. Nebraska much better than advertised but Pelini struggles in big games, always has, so that is a factor. Gregory back at DE (All American) is a HUGE DEAL in this game, unstoppable pass rusher against a frosh QB. A Night Game in Lincoln will be rabid!
I want to see Miami stop the Husker ground game and cover Kenny Bell one on one at WR in the process and shut NU's attack down. Not gonna happen easy. Big step up in class from lowly Arkansas State. McNeese St scare still a factor in Vegas oddsmakers eyes, this line should be 10.
