In Today's Betting Buzz, Scott, Ken & Chuck take a look at the impact that losing Braxton Miller will have on Ohio State.
Braxton Miller has been ruled out for the season for the Buckeyes. Ohio State was listed as 10-1 odds to win the National Title before the injury, but now they are at 35/1.
The Buckeyes will go with redshirt freshman Barrett, who will operate behind a rebuilt OL. They no longer have Hyde at RB or Brown at WR. Scott feels that the leadership is a big loss, but also doesn't see them losing more than one game vs their cake walk of a schedule.
Ken Disagrees on the schedule. They take on Navy, Virginia Tech and Cincinnati and compared to some of the non-conference slates that SEC takes on, this is not an easy schedule. Ken also felt that even with Miller in there they would have a tough time winning at Michigan State, plus he possibly sees them losing another game somewhere down the road.
Scott feels that Navy will have a tough time vs Ohio state, cause the buckeyes have had all off-season to prepare for the Option attack that Navy brings, plus Barrett now has time to prepare for the opener as well. He has played good in practice. Still its hard to replace Miller.
Scott feels that if Ohio State loses to Michigan state and they were undefeated going into that game then they could be in trouble in the next game vs Minnesota, which is on the road.
