The line is now at -6.5
Miami is without #1 RB Duke Johnson (out for season)
Beat Va Tech 30-12 LY also at Home but the win benefiting from +3 TO's and was outgained 347 to 421 yards
None of their wins TY is impressive
Va Tech seem to be even much worse TY. They put together a nice 6-games win streak then lost the last 2 to Duke and BC
I would certainly take Miami and lay -6.5 with D Johnson playing.... but now????
After the blow out loss I am not sure of their state of mind. LY they did not do well after the 2 blow out losses to Kansas St and Notre Dame. Thoughts.....
I would only look at Va Tech, Miami could be flat and letdown after getting destroyed by FSU, Va Tech outgained Duke/BC by a combined 320 plus yards but lost both games due to turnovers. Expect Va Tech's defense to dominate, I smell a 17-14 type game, grab the points and bet up to 7 if you can.
Va Tech also held Alabama to 205 yards but lost again due to turnovers and special teams, expect Beamer to be very conservative and not let his offense lose this game. The under is worth a look too.
Last week I believe vtech was looking ahead. Miami moral will prolly be down. I like vtech at 7 at a early look.
Detroit tigers game plays 21 - 8
Triples 5 -1
All from 2014 season
GOY 7-2 all time
Officialy I did just play Va Tech at +7 -110......this line I expect to move down, grab the 7 now.
hokies points and ml or nothing
With summer in full swing, the prospect of keeping updated records at this point is mute. Apologies, I just don't have time
Wouldnt touch this with a 10foot pole
Thanks all of you. I certainly had Miami crossed out.
virginia tech is like the houston texans of college football... really good defense, one of the best in the country. not a star studded offense, but there is talent. problem is they turn the ball over way too much. namely Logan thomas. If Va Tech stays turnover free, they can beat anybody. sounds crazy right? but look at the alabama game. hokies didn't play bad, but pick sixes, and special teams touchdowns did them in. Miami who knows what they're going to do in this game. coming off of that loss to FSU? maybe they feel crushed and come out flat? maybe they show up and ball out? they were flat the two weeks previous to the fsu game and to be honest they didn't even seem all that hyped in the FSU game.. I expect this game to be loaded with turnovers between morris trying to throw on a verrrry talented hokie defense, and logan thomas just turning over the ball as usual.. i'd stay away.
