The Golden Nugget Football Showdown got underway yesterday from the sports book and the ESPN studios. The opening week matchup featured Chuck Edel and Ken Thompson from Pregame against our friends Erin Rynning and Ted Sevransky.
The contest is a 7 game NFL & NCAA handicapping showdown with the Top 8 records advancing from the 16 participants. Entry fee was reduced to $1500 because of the last minute decision to pick up where Cantor left off.
Our own Fezzik will be participating next week and I will be on October 25th in the final first round matchup.
Best of luck to the guys this week and let's bring home the crown to Pregame this year as I'm getting tired of being a bridesmaid.
