Chris Andrews is wrong... and if he is right, then I would definitely not take them.

Oregon put up 27 on LSU in 2011 and only 19 against a porous defense of Auburn in 2010( 43 to Arkansas and over 30 to Mississippi, Georgia, and Kentucky?)  and magically you assume they hang 40 on bama?  A&M scored 9 points in 3 quarters and bama had 3 turnovers.  Bama had just played in a huge game where they had to comeback to win at the end and came in to this game sleep walking while A&M was playing in their Super Bowl. I'm a long horned beaver that likes to use Trojans for the next few weeks and hopefully we will see what happens.

Apparently Ridge77 doesn't fully understand who these 1 or 2 loss SEC teams have to play throughout the year.  I can assure you it's not teams like Fresno State or Tennessee Tech.  BTW, Auburn's defense from 2010 is mediocre compared to Bama's defense of this year...19 I believe is what Toofdoc ^above just stated Oregon scored on Auburn then...Understandably this isnt the same Oregon team just as it isnt for Bama.  Both are great teams but an SEC team is going to always have one advantage on other teams and that is the strength of schedule. Nothing can prepare a team more than facing other teams with over 50% of their starters projected to go pro.

Let me say this and you can take it where you want....give Bama 2 weeks rest...they will beat any team in country.

Lsu came in with fresh legs....and it was easy to see....but when bama HAD to...they overpowered....but it wore em down mentally and physically even more....and then had to play TexA&M...which is a really great team....and still fought back when they HAD to....yea they fell short...they just need a little break.

in 2010 Oregon had a 50 point average going into Auburn game and came out with 19.  That Oregon team was hyped to Hell and back and got SEC'd.  If the planets align and I think they will, we will see because anything less than Bama v Oregon will be a snoozer.

Oregon's defense is stronger than most realize and far better than numbers would indicate considering the offensive numbers they put up and how teams are playing from behind. Also, Oregon scores so quick that help skew defensive numbers. Regardless of who i think would win the game, i do know that Oregon would have more success offensively than in years past, BECAUSE their DEFENSE will get them off the field more often.

I am my own source. It's not a run when you do it over and over again with consistency and a mentality that you've done it before.

In nearly "5" years at pregame, if you COMBINED every SPORT SEASON together, i have turned a strong profit in EVERY SINGLE SPORT EXCEPT BASEBALL. Of all the things i've done here at pregame, this is EASILY what i'm most proud of. That's LONG TERM WINNING.

As always, thanks for that to continue to follow my work. Much, much appreciated
