I live in West Texas near Lubbock and although rain is predicted for this morning(30% chance) none is predicted this afternoon or night.  Sunny skies this afternoon and the wind is predicted around 15-20 mph which is normal for Lubbock.  May be less wind than normal. I don't think weather plays a part in this game.  Even Tech fans around here expect Tech to get destroyed.  I have seen Tech play and they do not have a very good football team.  I hope you folks are right because I would love to see Tech win, but I plan on putting my money on W.Va.

certainly not horrible weather for lubbock, but that area is known for winds - which 20mph and possible gust for gametime may have some factor - as WVa is in misty mountains and they call 20 mph winds tornado's.

i think it should be an entertaining game, have fun & GL Burke.

A man from the east was talking to a fellow from around Lubbock.  He asked if the wind always blew like this and the reply was, of course not, most days it gets up.
