I thought the word "buckle" referred to the huge silver trophies worn on the belts by the valiant men who competed in the National Rodeo Contest in Las Vegas each Nov/Dec. Little did I know the U. of Nevada Wolf Pack could take a fall and cower to the weakest brahma bull so easily. Maybe these "Misfits" (see the great John Huston/Clark Gable/Marilyn Monroe movie) should pursue careers in boxing. There they can play to the odds. They certainly don't have a future in football!
