3. Oklahoma(-4) at West Virginia: Take Oklahoma -4

Thanks Dub, good call(s)....The Texas line makes some sense, though, given how inconsistent the Longhorns have been the past two seasons. I know everyone is expecting a turnaround this year, but the books may be waiting to see it before they believe it. If they released that line at -6.5 or -7.5, they may fear getting pounding by WV money. By going -4 with Texas they are probably counting on bettors feeling as skiddish about the Longhorns as they obviously do....BTW, don't sleep on the Pokes, they will be good again this season despite the loss of Weeden and Blackmon.
I laid the 5 1/2 on Texas, it opened at 4 1/2 but somebody beat me.

Dub, yeah follow the Big 12 real close, live in the heart of Big 12 country you could say. Anxious to hear your thoughts on WV and excited to see how the Big 12 plays out this year with the two new editions. The conference is definitely loaded in my opinion. Kansas is the only real dog in the league right now and even the Jayhawks should be improved this season. Iowa State never gets much press or respect, but Paul Rhoads has done a great job there and you can bank on the fact that the Cyclones will pull off at least one improbable upset...they do it every year.
