Jalen Hurts got better Saturday night. I hope Lane Kiffin learned a few thing himself. Great effort by the Bayou Bengals. And, Roll Tide! Roll!
Always nice to note individual effort, but porn star gaps late 4th quarter paved the way by the outstanding strength and conditioning of tide offensive line. I don't think there is a defense or offensive line that can go with the tide for 60. Hurts can't really pass, but is mobile and moreso a runner. LSU did a great job at shutting down the tide pass. Several teams have played a great half with crimson, and bayou bengals went 3.5 quarter before tide depth took over late.
I do like Auburn's approach, as they are not "head on," which is a disaster against the tide defense. They use blocking slants and off direction, this could be pivotal. However, think tide will be very tough to stop and likely nat title champs again. Auburn is only obstacle, and gus will bring the bus. Still don't think the a-tigers have the depth to go 60 either though.
Someone mentioned Michigan? RUFS? I will lay tide -10 in a heartbeat against big blue. If Auburn comes out storming like they did against the hogs, tide will have their hands full. The east is a poser, west is the best.
