Best practice of the 3 I've seen this week. Hands down.
Crisp, spirited, but not cocky. They were running everything full speed.
Worked on hard counts a lot. Pretty much every time they huddled they would hard count on the next snap. Then they wouldn't huddle again until they ran 3 or 4 consecutive plays.
Discipline was the theme. You could tell the coaches were sick of all the delay of games and false starts.
One guy jogged off when he got subbed on D and the coach stopped practice and screamed at the entire unit to SPRINT off the field when you're subbed. You could hear the players yelling at him in anger afterwards.
I was impressed.
This is one fired up football team.
I like them again.
This is a traditionally close game. "The oil can bowl" as it has been dubbed, but SDSU is on a higher level than ever before.
I just don't see how Fresno St. can possibly stop SDSU's running game.
I also don't see how Fresno is going to be able to move the ball consistently. They just aren't anywhere near as good as SDSU. Hell they aren't even anywhere near as good as UNLV.
I really think that loss to South Alabama lit a fire under SDSU.
From what I see there is no way they sleepwalk into this game.
I predict a blowout score early and then some piling on late with simple runs going for huge chunks of yardage.
