Hey fellas, its that time of year again, the most Wonderful time of the year, CFB! Wanted to step in and say how I'm looking forward to another great season of CFB interacting with the Pregame family. This site has been a blessing now going on 3 years for an old and getting older retired coach of this great game of 30 years plus, to be able to make solid friends and followers the past 3 years. I cherish my friendships I've made here more so than I do the wins and losses we've endured together. It's always my goal now to make more friends and relationships with the Pregame family to start the season, and they last for a lifetime. Thanks to all my dear and faithful friends. You mean more to me than you know. With that said, those of you who don't know me and considering following or fading, go to the STREAKS section, click on CFB, then click NET PROFIT, and you will see my record for ALL picks in the MAKE PICK section for the '14 and '15 seasons. I'm not a guru nor a professional at this gig, I've taking things from this site since day one to make me a better capper, or as i say, an investor. And I continue to read and learn from the best here, and I hope you will do the same. As I said earlier, Pregame.com has been a blessing to me. The keys I've learned is DO THE WORK and MONEY MANAGEMENT! Money Management we can all do. If you don't have time to do the work, don't blow your hard earned $ or hire a Pro or even find some solid cappers on here to follow. They plenty of good cappers here. Aite fellas, off the soap box and FYI if ya choose to follow or fade. I'm a FLAT investor, "one unit". I took some hard knocks in the past falling in Love with a wager and losing my ASS! I will make picks in MAKE PICKS section at different times of week, those get a 1/4 unit play. Investments i post in this thread are ONE UNIT investments, or otherwise stated. I'm one of transparency, and will have a running tally of W-L's each week. Also, a note, I'm primarily a Game Day investor. So, a lot of times my investments come late on Game Day. That's just part of my philosophy. I will share more as the season progresses about my investment process, if it's of interest to any. Now to the meat of things. For Thursday Sept 1, I have 4 probabilities as investments (2 sides and 2 Totals). Once all the I's are dotted and T's are crossed, I will post my One Unit investments in this thread. Otherwise, if ya choose to do so, check MY PICKS SECTION tomorrow periodically for ALL the investments. Hope this post didn't come across the wrong way. I'm here only to be a positive contributor as this site was originated to do. Help each other WIN! When I solidified on my investments for Thursday, I will put "PLAYS POSTED" in the headliner. Hope to see ya and talk to ya soon and often. Now, LET'S GET AFTER THEIR ASS! GATA!!!
Thursday 9/1 APPA STATE vs TENNESSEE = "UNDER" 61
Two of the more experienced teams in the country here (Tenn 17 returning starters, Appa State 15), and both getting a lot of preseason hype. The Vols being picked by most to win the SEC East and to be in the hunt for the Final Four in January, While the Mountaineers are tabbed by many to be the class of the Sun Belt in "16. ASU comes in with loads of returning experience off an 11-2 team in '15 that includes 9 returning starters on defense. The strength of the D-unit is the second level LB'ing corp and the backend in the secondary. The Vols lost 4 games last year, and were leading in all 4, 3 of those by double digits. The Vols return 8 starters on the defensive side and will definitely be the best in HC Jones time there. The front 7 are being touted as one of the best in the country. During the spring and fall camps in Vol land much emphasis was put on finishing the game. Close the deal. And the VOLS defensive unit has been challenged by their coaches to be the CLOSER. This unit has improved each year under Butch Jones ('15 allowed 20.0 ppg). The Vols are 8-0 all-time vs current SBC teams winning by an avg 30 ppg. Since '07 the Mountaineers are 0-6 on the road vs Power 5 conference teams avg loss 38 ppg. This is the first meeting. Not willing to get involved with the 3 td spread here, but with the returning experience of both defensive teams and the strengths of those units, along with both having solid special teams, I'm investing in the UNDER. I bought in at UNDER 61 (10.00 am CST), but would not surprise me if this # inches upward toward kickoff.
BOL Pregamers. GATA!!!
