This is just a bad matchup today for Auburn as they host number one-ranked Alabama in the annual Iron Bowl game. The Crimson Tide boast the nation’s number two rushing defense, surrendering just over 78 YPG on the ground, while today facing an Auburn team that has had serious questions at the QB position. Defensively, the Tigers appear to be regressing late into the season and last week against a terrible Idaho team, the Tigers beat the Vandals 56-34 but were actually outgained 479-460. The Auburn run defense ranks 11th in the league and now has to face Derrick Henry, who has already rushed for 21 touchdowns. Only Arkansas has given up more than the 23 rushing TDs Auburn has allowed this season. Alabama has the national championship in their sites and this one, rivalry or not, is a complete mismatch. Auburn is just 2-8 against the number this season and it’s more of the same on Saturday. The Sharps say…
