Will start posting BIOS from our D.O.B. members over the course of each day:Poster: VWGPlaysI was born and raised in a small town 15 miles south of Pittsburgh PA and lived there most of my life except for 5 years in college at West Virginia University. I played Baseball and Basketball up thru high school but a couple of broken ankles prevented me from playing at the next level as I failed in my attempt to walk on at WVU. After college, I went from job to job: Car salesman, Nightclub DJ…even counseled single moms on public assistance for 5 years. I worked 10 years for a medical equipment company and during that time I transferred within the company from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas in the fall of 2000. The second day I got to Las Vegas I visited a sports book and from then on I became infatuated with sports handicapping. I was terrible at first but quickly began to learn the game so to speak. I devoted all of my free time to handicapping sports. I collected every piece of sports data one could imagine and eventually created programs in a STATA Statistical Database. I have back tested hundreds of probability models and eventually found the ones that proved to be successful over long periods of time. I truly consider my NBA Database as “one of a kind”. I personally guarantee no one else has a database even remotely close to what I have in the NBA. I have game play by play data for thousands of games built into this database. I am not just talking your every day stats…if you want to know who Derek Fisher passed the ball to at the 3 minute mark of the 3rd quarter in game against Denver back in 2006 and where he was at on the court when he threw that pass, I can look that up at the press of a few buttons. The database enables me to effectively know who will be guarding who with reasonable certainty when two teams play even in the midst of a rotation change. I also keep track of referee stats and know who blew the whistle on every call made back to 1998. Remember when Tim Donaghy said refs have biases? He wasn’t lying. In summation, the database effectively gives me 5 base lines which are REAL lines that do not take in public perception consideration as far as the sports books are concerned. In other words, I know where the value is a great percentage of the time and often able to beat line moves or wait until I get the line I want. The NBA is my specialty. I believe I am well versed in all sports with the exception of hockey and I cap each sport differently. For football, I basically look at the opening line and see what games opened above or below key numbers which will dictate the side I take whether it be the favorite or the underdog. I firmly believe that the oddsmakers particularly Las Vegas Sports Consultants tell a story with every opening line and that they hint at where they want the money to go. In other words, they have an opinion on most games. After that, I try to validate the play thru statistics and subjective factors. For Baseball, I look at everything from starting pitchers, bullpens, and team offense and apply a pitcher’s sabermetrics to try to find value. Aside from handicapping I carry a full time job as an Auditor for the Sin City’s best Gentlemen’s Club. I am not married and have no kids that I know of and I am hopeful that Maury Povitch will never appear on my doorstep! I sleep an average of 4 hours per day, walk for at least 2 hours per day, and the rest of the time I am handicapping or Auditing. My goal for pregame is the same as everybody else…I want to try to help people win money, whether it be as a pregame pro which I am not yet LOL(HINT HINT) or as a regular forum contributor. Good luck to everyone…let’s make the books sorry that Pregame.com ever existed.

Damn. After seeing these extensive Bio's I think I need to add to mine LOL
2012 NFL PreSeason Record: 1-0, +1 Unit
This town won't appreciate Tony Romo until he's gone and the Cowboys are back playing with the Quincy Carters and Chad Hutchinsons of this world. Remember those days?
You don't appreciate a quality quarterback until you don't have one. Few teams have the good fortune of making the transition from a Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck as the Colts are prepared to do. When Romo is done, it may be 5-10-15 years before the Cowboys find another quarterback of his ability.

Haha, I just sent Johnny a more detailed bio as a result. I didn't want to include too much since I didn't know how it would be used, but in this fashion it makes sense to tell a bit more about my sorry ass.
Anyone who wants to edit anything, can just send me a new email. I will hold off posting any more for a few hours.
