Hmmm...great query for sure...I'm definitely looking forward to learning more about the public's sentiments across the league as we approach the college football playoffs...
In my earlier years, despite my penchant for being extremely analytical, I've also effectively cultivated a solid analytical skill-set), the truth was that I was far, far removed from the ultimate goal--to TRULY MAXIMIZE the benefits of my well-honed analytical skills (relative to the "whacky" business of sports wagering). ;o) Thankfully, over the years I've seized the opportunity to achieve expert status. To this day, I continue to work diligently and tirelessly to improve my overall skill-set (with full understanding that absolute perfection is unattainable). The profundity of it all is that the "golden nugget"....the "pearl of wisdom" here is that one must commit to a philosophy of "constant and never-ending improvement." The over-arching goal is to strive for INCREMENTAL improvement--it's a long journey and not a sprint...yes?? ;o). Now THAT'S a sweet golden-nugget for sure!! Agreed? ;o).
Fully understanding that perfection (fully understanding that perfection is not (& never will be) attaianble was the first, and arguably the most critical step. The true substance & pure beauty of cultivating this kind of thinking/mindset is necessary to continue to move forward and improve...w/o it, you're simply spinning your wheels!! :o) It's imperative that or proceeds to peel significantly more layers off the proverbial "onion." ;o). Doing so has (& always will) yield consistent improvement over time. For me, this type of approach has yielded significant gains ...gains I would not have realized had I not injected the requisite amount of intellectual curiosity and horsepower! Make sense?
@ this juncture, (I've ALMOST mastered/optimized the optimal balance necessary (between the quantitative and qualitative) to extract the most salient/relevant elements, while ensuring I minimize the frequency of falling into that "dark place" (a place I--& most people, I'm sure--have "visited" on occasion (there were certainly exponentially more of those kinds of visits when I was a young knucklehead... ;o).
Today, I'm a wise old sage!!! ;o) Over the years (& into perpetuity), I've been fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of good fortune (along with myriad important elements), ultimately producing CONSISTENT results INCREMENTALLY producing better results... :o).
I've been able to depress the frequency of falling victim to the "paralysis through analysis syndrome," ultimately becoming a sad casualty of OVER-ANALYZING!! ;o) Make sense??....hope so!!!
I just recognized that this post has come perilously close to rivaling War & Peace....SHEESH!! So, let me skoot while I'm still BEHIND!!! ;o). LMAO....
Best to you this weekend and moving forward in general. I'll most likely provide additional perspectives--hope that's cool!!! ;o)
PS: Ever since the serious knee injury suffered by Oregon's best corner (a first round NFL talent & Oregon's best player), I think the game shifts drastically towards the other side....see where I'm goin??? ;o) I can't spell his name correctly, so I'm neglecting making a fool of myself. . ;o)
CARPE DIEM!!!
