UPDATE: I have decided I will not post any more until 13aces is banned from my threads. He has been trolling me for a very long time and I am sick of it (he trolls others too and is viscous and mean spirited). I will continue to post my picks in the Fish/Dman contest but other than that I am done posting.
UPDATE #2: RJ Bell has resolved the situation.
I like Texas Tech +3, +105. West Virginia has been impressive so far this season but part of the reason for that is their somewhat unique offensive system has been able to move the ball against defenses unaccustomed to preparing for them. However, Texas Tech has experience going up against offenses like WVU (including their own in practice) which neutralizes WVU's advantage. West Virginia's strong performances against Alabama, Oklahoma, and Maryland look a little less impressive now that all 3 lost last week. These teams are similar in terms of talent and Texas Tech will be fired up and focused coming off a sloppy loss. West Virginia's defense struggles against teams that like to chuck it around like Texas Tech. Last year Tech threw for 462 yards (9.2 yards per attempt) in Morgantown in a 37-27 win. Assuming he is not reinstated from his recent suspension, cornerback Daryl Worley's absence will hurt West Virginia against a passing team like Texas Tech. I'm 4-1 so far this season against the spread picking West Virginia games and I'm hoping to make it 5-1 with the home dog in this one.
