In What Did Bettor's Learn, Teddy & Dave discuss Oregon's shocking home loss to Arizona, but was it all that shocking?
Dave feels that it really isn't. Oregon beat Michigan State and Washington State in competitive games, but overall this team has not dominated as in years past. This is just not a dominating Oregon team this year and they have been wildly overvalued this year so far.
They still aren't out of the national title picture, but it does take some of the luster off their season. The program as a hole may be starting to slide a little as the effects of Chip Kelley leaving is starting to show. Also with their upcoming slate of games it looks likes it will be hard for them to not lose another game this year.
Mariotta has been solid, but the Ducks are having big problems along the OL, which really showed vs Arizona last night. This really is a transition year for the Ducks and the future may be a bit murky for them as they are in so many close games that they just aren't able to get allot of their younger players much needed playing time. That is not good news as the rest of the Pac-12 seems to get stronger every year.
Right now this is a competitive conference with no easy wins other than maybe Colorado.
