A free play of the day is given out each day on Pregame.com’s FIRST PREVIEW.

Today Andy like the Dodgers and Pirates to go over the total of 7.5.

The segment starts off with Text Best Bets.

Umpire Lazaro Diaz is 13-4 to the Over this year and average runs scored is 9.1. The Dodgers and Pirates are coming off an big offensive night.

Neither pitcher is considered aces on their team. Andy looks for this game to put up at least 9 runs.

My play on the OVER 7.5 was predicated on the likelihood that both Hanley Ramirez and Yasiel Puig would again be out of the Dodgers lineup and that Pedro Alvarez would not be Pittsburgh's lineup.  Sure enough, none of the three are in tonight's lineup and the vig on the 7.5 has moved, as expected, towards the Under although the Total does remain at 7.5.  The line opened at most shops last night at 7.5 minus 115 on the UNDER and did get bet up to 7.5 minus 120 on the Over but has now returned to the opener of 7.5 minus 115 to the UNDER.  I still like the play.
