The last few days have not been profitable so to speak. Some tough breaks, but we march on. Today i have 2 plays i'm firing on and i think we get some soft teams against some great pitchers.
Last time we saw Adam Wainright he was getting lit up in the All-Star game in front of the entire world. I doubt thats going to sit well with the ace of the St.Louis Cardinals. Wainright at home is a beast as he only has one loss to his record in St. Louis. The Cardinals faced lefty Clayton Kershaw on Sunday and fell 4-3 in that game. The Cardinals have had some time to let that loss sink in and had a day off on Monday to refocus and get ready for two game series versus Tampa bay. They will hit the road on Thursday after this series. Tampa is running hot right now as they have won 5 straight. If St.Louis is going to get to Tampa Bay they will most likely have success with Odorizzi.
Both Pitchers are coming off a nice layoff but i expect Wainright to be pinpoint accurate tomorrow on the mound.
Play St. Louis -1.5 (+135)

Scott Kazmir is one of the better pitchers in the league. when he brings his stuff he is hard to top. Even with a great opposing line-up. He takes to the hill in a 7 game home stretch for the A's tomorrow night. The Houston Astros come to town fresh off a series ending sweep winner against the Chicago WhiteSox as they put up 11 runs Vs CWS P Chris Sale. The Astros as like the A's both come in on a extra days rest. Oberholtzer comes into this game with a 2-7 record and a 4.50 ERA.
Oakland winners of 3 of the last 4 will look to keep the pressure on in the AL and make even more distance between them and the Angels. This one can get ugly if Kazmir brings his stuff Vs. this Astros lineup.
Play Oakland A's -1.5 (-105)
