stan, in order to help you navigate your way through some of these complex issues, I went ahead and calculated your complete W/L record and total units lost/gained.  With this, it should be really much easier to just keep up with it daily as it goes on, instead of having to dig back through all of your prior plays to compile the numbers.

Including all plays through the Sunday, 7/13 Baltimore selection, you are 2-7 (W/L) and -4.29 units.

scottsins, I sincerely appreciate your efforts, however, as I stated in this thread above, I have decided to NOT keep records. It is NOT mandatory, and now I fully understand why. Good luck.

gristle, I did not realize the points you make. They are well taken and I certainly did not attempt to fool anyone with a losing record like that. Thank you and I just found out record keeping was not mandatory.

Since I am certainly not a professional handicapper, nor am I attempting to sell any selections now or ever, I think I will take advantage of the option made available to me, that is, I will not keep records any longer. I just wonder who really cares about a poster whose averege wagers are $10, $20 and $30?

In fact, I am in the process of trying to decide what Pregame Professionals I should buy picks from this coming football season. One great advantage in Pregame is, I would think if you buy some picks from one of the Pros, and he happens to hit a bad streak, I can always try another one. I do think that before jumping from one to another, one must be given a chance to prove himself. Everyone has bad streaks , but sooner or later those streaks can turn rapidly, so I think one must start out picking a pro, buy his picks, but be fair and give him at least 30 days to "do his thing."

Good luck this football season, and thank you again for calling my attention to my record keeping. I think record keeping is great, but your comment has made me realize it must be done with accuracy and with "juice" included. Record keeping is probably best used by professionals only, as they are the ones who are really making and selling selections for a living.

Fair enough Stan, I figured this is how you would handle it.

BOL in the second half of MLB and finding that football capper!!! $$$

If you don't track records, it'll only bring more criticism when you lose. It is honorable to track your selections daily, win or lose. Jeff Scott is exhibit A, and he is one of the most respected guys on this site. Not tracking picks will continue to be a hassle, especially if you pick winners at a 22% clip. Thank you. GL!
