Rangers minus $1.10 hosting A's
Scott Kazmir is pitching well, but he's trumped by Martin Perez, who is the hottest pitcher in baseball with 26 scoreless innings and is looking to become the first American League pitcher to win five games this season. Texas is 5-0 in Perez's five outings.
The A's just faced Perez five days ago and were shut out. That pushed Texas' record to 10-1 against AL West teams when Perez is on the mound.
Kazmir is 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA. Impressive, but consider Kazmir's starts have come against the Mariners, Twins, Indians and Astros twice. None of those teams bring back memories of the '27 Yankees. The A's also might still be without outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, who has missed the past four games with a strained hamstring.
Oakland is a solid road team, but the Rangers are 16-6 in their last 22 home games.
I have my MLB/NBA Parlay of the Month going today. I am 4-1 on my last five paid/free baseball plays, including cashing with the Cubs as a $1.45 'dog two days ago on my last free play, and am 26-14-3 on my last 43 paid/free NBA sides plays for 65 percent. My April Parlay of the Month can be found here: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper.
As always, no bad luck!
