VR Won HR Derby in '08..Free '09 Derby Pick Inside !!

Good Morning Gentlemen...I am really glad that we were able to head into the All-Star Break off a Winning Day, especially since the 2 prior were just terrible...Now I have a much better taste in my mouth as we get ready for the 2nd Half...The Bottom Line is that we find ourselves up "35 UNITS" for MLB '09...And that's after having a very difficult final week...But I will definitely take it, because if I am not mistaken...at the Break Last Year, we weren't ahead as much in MLB as we are this year...Although we had such a huge Basketball Season, we found ourselves much further ahead for the Year...

What you will learn is that those things can't be predicted...For example, although this year we aren't where we were last year in terms of Units Won...we ended up having a terrible NCAAFB Season towards the end of the year, which took back a lot of our Profits...So this year may be the opposite, where we continue to beat MLB...then have ourselves a huge Football Season and really end the year with a nice Profit...

Those things you just have to let fall where they may...Because as long as you keep doing the right thing, eventually I know like in the past...Our edge will kick in, and the Damage will get Done...That much I am sure of because that's what we do...And as we move forward, I continue to learn as well and will continue to implement what I can to improve our results...

For example, I lost over 20 Units in Nascar which were not neccessary...And those kind of Bets I'm learning to pass on due to the realization that we haven't been working together long enough, that your bankrolls can afford taking those kind of shots...But at the same time, I know that many enjoy them...just like today's HR DERBY...So we'll work on being much more selective which will ultimately help alot...

So I really want to THANK ALL OF YOU for a great 1st Half of MLB 2009...And I look forward to an even Bigger 2nd Half, then a huge Football Season to close out our Year...Best of Luck, Vegas-Runner

Last Year, we Picked the WINNER of the Home Run Derby and Passed it along right here in the Forums for Free...

So I decided that I would go ahead and do the same for the '09 HR DERBY...

After doing the work, I got it down to 4 Players who I feel have the Best chance to Win :

1.) PUJOLS 2-1....2.) HOWARD 3-1....3.) GONZALEZ 6-1....4.) PENA 7-1

Now Pujols offers absolutely No Value at All, so we'll scratch him off the list immediately...

Then, the Odds on Gonzalez & Pena are really sweet...and I almost want to force myself to choose 1 of them...

But after capping the Derby, the EXACT same way I did in '08...The Choice for the Winner became obvious...

That's going to do it for Monday...My wife surprised me and got us a room at Caesars for the next 2 nights...so that I am close to home and can get the work done that I've planned...but at the same time, can feel like I'm also taking a break...

So I will probably not be back until Tuesday, when we look to find an All-Star Game Winner...For now, I'm going to go to the Window and put my bet on HOWARD before the price moves...and enjoy the day at the pool...
