Regarding yesterday's 2 Late Daily Doubles.
As you may or may not know, I watch HRTV, and TVG (only because TVG carries Del Mar.
Joe, I made those two doubles at 8:12 p.m. central, which is 6:12 p.m. pacific. So I know for a fact that the 9th race was NOT off when I made my two doubles.
I checked Equibase last night and their off time was 6:13 p.m. pacific for the 9th. Granted it was a minute away and had the times been the same, I'd have had no bet. But you know that is tough to do today, and it protects everyone.
I do apologize to you and all those who may have wanted to follow me, but at this point, I'm convinced everyone knows I use Edwin, when I think he has a chance. If I thought Edwin would have had a great chance to win the 9th, I'd have bet on him, and not $100.00 on another horse.
But I do apologize to everyone for wagering SO LATE,
and not giving others enough time to follow. I will be more prudent and from here on try to give at least 10 minutes to everyone. I like to see the live odds and watch horses warm up, but from now on, if I can't get my selection in within 10 minutes or more, I simply won't post it.
Finally, tell johnnymo, Edwin's horse was NOT inside info. If it was I would have had that horse earlier and shared it. I just like trainer A. Avila and know Edwin is trying hard on everything. I would think you guys would know that as well by now. If I did have inside info, I'd have bet at least $400 win $400 place.
So those are the facts, and the Equibase time for the "OFF TIME" is accepted by everyone in America, and the time posted on my Pregame post time when I posted my doubles is correct, as I watched the race on TVG.
For johnnymo to say the race went off at "THE SAME TIME" means the two times would be the same. They are not. In fact, I was one minute and 28 secons ahead of the start of the 9th race, according to both times. Plus I watched the race.
In closing I will do my best to get the posts of my selections in at least 10 minutes before post. If some go off a minute or two, one way or the other, I don't think it will matter. Most places take time bets anyway, and its difficult to past post anyone. One thing is sure, I wagered before and posted at Pregame before the gate opened. That was not fair to those I like to help,, but all I can say is I'm sorry and meant no harm.

Prof- The Reds are one of those "Masters of The Obvious" selections. Many people shy away from these sorts of plays. I think it will also go "OVER"....but won't play a side and total in the same game. GL!

A lot happens from the time you start looking at the past perfomances until the time a race goes off. That's why I very seldom pre-bet horses. Some of my selection proceess involves the way the horses are being bet.
