Minnesota Twins (+133) LOSS - Really? Getting this line taking a pitcher who is 5-0 (1.70) in day games? Porcello pitching well lately, but he is still Porcello. I would likely stay away from the Over in this one. Tigers are 3-13 in their last 16 games vs. a left-handed starter. What I am going to do rather than making this a TOP PLAY is put 3½ units on the ML and 1½ on the Alternate RL

Minnesota Twins -1½  (+190) LOSS

Chicago White Sox (+121) WIN - Again, the odds are great. Quintana has had one poor outing (against the Yanks. Big deal....they got Dickey, too), but he has only allowed 13 hits in 26 daylight innings. That is dominant. That computes to a .151 BAA and a microscopic 0.35 ERA. Main concern is the 0-0 record over these innings implying that the Sox are not scoring for him. Sets up perfect for the Under. Harrison pitching exceptionally well, but zero chance of laying > -130 against Quintana.

Texas Rangers/Chicago White Sox Under 10 (-115) TOP PLAY WIN

Washington Nationals (+108) - Looking further into this one, but Cain's recent form does NOT warrant him being favored over the Nats. On an extra day's rest, Cain is 3-1 (1.49), 43 Ks in 36.1 IP allowing opponents to bat .134. This one is a pass.

Houston Astros/Pittsburgh Pirates Over 8½ (-120) - Two pitchers on the down-slope of their careers. Can't see anything keeping this under the number (except the 'Stros feeble hitting, perhaps)

Tampa Bay Rays/Cleveland Indians Over 9½ (-105) - Can't see the Tribe's lefty-laden line-up slowing much here. Expect the Rays to kick in a few against Tomlin.

Chicago Cubs/Atlanta Braves Over 8½ (-105) - Minor normally gets exceptional RS against the Cubs, but may end up on the short-end tonight.

Kansas City Royals/Toronto Blue Jays Under 10 (-115) TOP PLAY - Expect to see a lot of ground-ball outs in Toronto tonight.

Colorado Rockies (+166) - BIG DOG - I like the way that Friedrich has pitched on the road (2.75) and I do expect that Lynn has hit a wall. My only concern here is that Cards' are effective against LHP. At this number, I am willing to take the chance.

San Diego Padres +1½  (-150) - Although I do like the Pads to win here, it is their first game home and them with 6 straight wins is hard to wrap my head around. Grandal has made a huge offensive impact since his recall. Having said that, I have been with them throughout this streak and am not jumping off the bandwagon.........yet.
