Just because its obvious doesn't mean its not true. Tomlin has been flat out horrendous so far, and this could be a game where the M's bats break out a bit after facing tough matchups in Carrasco and Salazar to start this series. Tomlin has been beaten up at home this season to the tune of an 11.74 ERA and .410 BAA, in his lone start last season against Seattle, he did give up just 2 ER on 2 solo homers, but allowed 9 hits over 6 innings. On the other side we have Chase De Jong, and I guess the only thing we can say is Cleveland hasn't seen him before, but they should welcome the rookie with a bang today. First two games of this series totaled 11 runs combined, I think we see that number here as both offenses break out and I see the 9.5 number as a value.
