3-0 sweep yesterday. Let's keep the good times rolling today with a big fat card:
Marlins -110 - Cahill maxes out at 5 innings and gives way to the awful Padre bullpen. Fish have raked recently vs RHP, hopefully the trend continues.
Giants/Rockies U10 -130 - Hate laying that much juice on a total, but I wanted to grab it before it moved down (which I see it already has). Cueto's numbers at Coors are oustanding. Chatwood's not so much, but the Giants would struggle to score runs on the moon right now. Maybe not as important at cavernous Coors, but the wind is also projected to be blowing in tonight.
Brewers +107 - The wrong team is favored here. Brewers have an edge in each facet of this game: offense, starting pitcher, bullpen, and defense. St. Louis does produce the better beer, though.
Rays +104 - Rays have been swinging the bats lately, and their current squad has favorable numbers vs Fiers. Neither SP is great, but the H/A splits favor Cobb. Also, Devenski, who's been fire this year, will probably be unavailable today as he threw 39 pitches yesterday.
Yankees -108 - Pirates were offensively challenged in their last series in STL, and overall hit LHP quite poorly. I thought CC would be fade bait this year, but he's proved just the opposite (so far). Glasgow has been hideous this year, which hopefully will continue vs the hot Yankee lineup.
I have a couple other leans...but this is it for now. GL everyone!
