For Friday:

958 MIL / 957 STL OVER 8.5 Greek

Analysis: Pretty insane NOT to put a marble on this now with the fact that both bullpens already suck and ARE going to be used and perhaps abused tonight. Davies 54 pitches through two innings and Martinez 27 in the first. So, regardless of who's pitching tomorrow. If I had bigger balls I'd just make this a 3* right this second.

Thanks, L - you can be my PR agent when Oakland gets killed here. Long story short - it's not gonna be pretty.

Dave do you know of any NFL team that has done well anytime soon after moving to another state ?I think any kind of team chemistry that they are starting to build  will be blown apart and they will suffer miserably as they have for over 15 yrs , however I live 1hour from vegas and I will definitely enjoy getting to watch a NFL football game that my team is playing in

I think Las Vegas is fortunate. Even if the Raiders lose some chemistry, they're used to moving after having been in LA, and they're no doubt on the uptick. I can't think of a city to got a "new" NFL team, be it a transfer or an expansion team, that was even CLOSE to as talented as what you guys are getting. TBH, as a Patriots fan for longer than I care to admit (and I sat through the 2-12 seasons, too) I was quite happy when the Raider had to be Carr-less because they were the only team I thought that could have given NE trouble in the AFC.

And I still have my falcons ticket ,I was so happy at halftime that I thought it was a worthy souvenir that I should keep to remind myself forever how much I hate the patriots

It's like this betting thing we do. New England HAS to regress at some point, and last year was just a mad max all-out focus to get Goddel to hand them the Trophy. As sharp and prepared as the usually are, I just can't see that happening again. I hope - but honestly as a Boston (I grew up there) fan of everything, it's like when the Red Sox beat the Yankees in 2004 coming back from 0-3 and sweeping the WS - that can never be duplicated, so I'm good if we don't win anymore. The regression will suck, but I am also a realist. It may happen slow, it may happen fast, but it'll happen.

Man, even after watching every single thing (play) they've done, I'm still in disbelief. But, my friend, it's like most every single game in every single sport - there's usually a team that beats themselves rather than gets beat, barring the occasional blowout. That was just a classic case of a team that couldn't handle the "moment" - far more than New England winning. Granted, they did everything the had to in the fourth, but as we know it was Atlanta that gave them the chance(s) to do that.
