I am the only one who LOVES a betting board with games starting early, and ending late? Today, has an ideal such board with the 1st WNBA game tipping off at 8:30 am PST (I nibbled on a little under 154.5), then a 9:30 PST game (I played pizza small bets on Ind 7.5 and OVER 165).
Over to MLB, and Bos/TB and he Cubs/Cin start early, with nonstop MLB action throughout the day.
That sort of rotation lends itself to multiple advantages IMO
1) You can watch 1 or 2 games in depth for live wagering/halftime opportunities
2) With Singleton games, books often get overloaded with one sided action (or a single big bet from a receational bettor) giving you some nice rogue numbers or even middles. The Sa/Wash 1st half for example had a 75.5 total at the Westgate (they clearly like UNDER!), and 77.5 was at another shop.
3) From a working perspective, it is just easier to actually have an ongoing game to observe or lightly track as you are doing your normal work.
4) With more games going off early, the late games become much more manageable if you are tracking lineups etc.
For all those who bet all day long: Do you agree with my thoughts on this? Do you greatly prefer a day like today with all the early games?
On the Handicapping front, I am still working on MLB. In the WNBA I FIRED a strong 2* BEST BET, and that package is up. Additionally my CFL PLAY OF THE WEEK is up for Friday's game, but I expect the line will move, be sure to lock that in. +24 units YTD, we look to keep buliding profits!
