We see sports records and stats every day. We grow some hard bark on us as we have numbers and records thrown at us day after day. Sometimes I see a mark in the day's historical moments and it stands out. One of those was today. It was on this date back in 1968 that the Detroit Tigers Jim Northrup smacked not one, but two grand slams in one game. Now there is something you don't see every day. That was a magical year for the Tigers. Denny McClain won 30 games for them and they went onto overcome a 3-1 deficit to knock off the Cardinals in the world series. That was a painful time for a ten year old Cardinals fan. The Cards had won the series over Boston in 1967 and after going up 3-1 in the 68 series it appeared they were well on there way to two straight titles. But Mickey Lolich had an amazing series for the Tigers and they got it done. But thinking about Northrup hitting two slams in one game deserved a mention today.
Okay, a free release. Tonight I suggest a small play on the Indians in Detroit against the Tigers. Danny Salazar will be gunning for his fourth straight victory and frankly might be one of the best pitchers out there in the show nobody talks much about.
On the business side I dropped my featured release yesterday. I don't just talk about the winners. Every single day I own it, win or lose. I do have a Triple loaded up for tonight. Since the first of may I have fired a total of 47 Triple Star releases and hit on a documented 70% of them. No, not 100%, no not 80%, but a rock solid 70% of them. Long term with them I am up 288 units.
Best of luck tonight and on through the weekend with your action guys. Take care.
