In the other early games - I am leery of taking the Cubs in any fashion here simply because Lackey isn't worth -200 or more, and Teheran CAN be solid. I don't like the Braves pen enough to take the other side or the RL - and although it's square and totals have sucked, I do lean over simply because both are flyball pitchers. IMO the reason the total is trending down is the weather, and there's a great chance they don't even play this game.
I want to use the Mets somewhere. DeGrom IS on a pitch count and the Giants have seen very little of him, and Cain appears to be back to his old self - well, not the REALLY old one - this horrid one. The Giants pen has been terrible, obviously used and abused last night, so Mets or nothing. Decent breeze blowing out - I COULD see this one hitting 7 as well, but Mets F5 is probably the best option.
I have no strong opinion on the Tigers' game at the moment. One would think that with Detroit starting to hit that with Zimmerman on the mound they'd be more than -125, which is somewhat of a yellow flag there. The Minnesota bullpen has pretty solid at home, so this one may stay under.
I have no solid take on the A's game, either. Hahn is very unpredictable as is the A's bullpen, and Houston is clearly just not playing well. I can't take an "over" in this park (meaning it's 4-4 in the third today) - so gun to my head, Oakland, simply because that big park could work against Houston's long balls - and Houston's bullpen has a 7.32 road ERA this season, so I disagree with the initial move to the Astros here.
