RECAP -- FOOTBALL STREAK AT 4
While college football got all the attention last night, we quietly picked up 2 more winners in the NFL. It started with the Steelers (-6.5) beating Carolina, 19-3, in a game that played out exactly as I suspected it would. We ended the night with the Jets (+1.5) beating the Eagles, 21-17, in a game that was NOT as close as the score would have you believe (BOTH Eagles TDs came on fumble returns).
We wrapped up the preseason at 6-3 (67%) and don't look now, but we've cashed 4 straight football winners. Silly as it may be, I can't help but think about that insane 20-game streak from last football season. I'm just very happy that we're off to a good start in football. I may finally have that September monkey off my back.
TODAY'S BUSINESS -- BACK TO MLB
For Friday, we go back to MLB where we've quietly gone 11-2 (85%) on our last 13 baseball plays, and we're a rock-solid 70-44 (61.4%) +18.9 Units for the entire MLB season.
