Of course, you expected to see another quality underdog in this thread. For Friday, we are going with:
#953 Atlanta Braves for 1 unit (I expect line to be around +120)
Once again, we will let the book post their dime lines then go with an official line.
I am going to keep this writeup simple:
The Braves are 11-1 when Medlen starts including 8 straight wins. Medlen has had 2 rough outings but I do like the fact that he posted his season high of 8 K's in his last start. Also, Medlen is not going to walk many batters as he has never allowed more than 2 walks all season. I really like his approach to pitching.
Cueto has been great this year but I have followed him very closely. He relies heavily on his fastball and can get wild. He has allowed 4 or more walks in 2 of his July starts. I can't argue with his results this year but I believe the Braves can take advantage of the free passes on Friday if he hands them out. From a betting standpoint, these are the pitchers we like to fade.
I have noticed a strange trend. For the last 10 games, the Reds have won 2 games, lost 2 games, won 2 games, etc. Well, if the trend holds true then the Reds will lose and Braves will go to 12-1 with him on the mound. Plus, we are grabbing one of the best teams in MLB around +120. Lets take the Braves on Friday.
Good luck to everyone. Lets all end the week on a positive note.
Tribute to those who have left PG: Straguzzi, Simon, Dan "the Baby-Faced Legend" Bebe. Best of luck fellas. Cheech - your absence will not be forgotten. Jaybiz- at least you are only a tweet away #keepdoingwork

Hey Dfresh,
great to see you still up and around and posting your Friday play. Great call on Balt! thanks for the pick and the $$. Boarded my plane in Portland and saw they were down by 1 run in the eighth and figured it was a loss, landed in LA and saw they won in extra innings.....was nice surprise
Riding with you on Atlanta. Keep up the great work!
JW
Good Luck D. Keeps those dogs a barkin'.
