Good Morning All -
3-2 on the early plays including hitting our 3* daily best bet & the Rockies +140. We did lose the late game on the OVER. One of the worst called games in terms of strike zone I've seen in a long while, but it is what it is. Onto this week we go. We have about a week left until the All-Star break....so let's get to it.
- Detroit/Seattle OVER 7, -120, 2* - Just too many ways I see this going over. From Iwakuma struggling since he's been back to Alfredo Simon of the Tigers regressing back to the mean of his career (typical of him to fade as we get deeper into the season) to the bullpen issues to Cano starting to hit...etc. Just too many ways this doesn't get to 3-3 at some point (meaning at worst a push), and honestly if I were a betting man, which I am, I see close to 10 runs in this one. Lock it in now as it will close at 7.5 or so.
- Indians -110, 2* bet - This one is perplexing, yet telling. Keutchel is solid...but if the edge to the Astros, then why is the line set to favor the Indians and the # has held steady? We'll pounce on this one and look for Carasco to continue rounding into form with another solid start.
Last lean is to the Giants. And if all goes well in the early ones (or are looking good) it would be a 1* play on the Giants at around -130.
Best of luck,
dmak
