I had a solid 7-4 showing yesterday. I look to start the week off on a solid note. BOL today Everyone. More To Come

Detroit/ Seattle Over 7 (-115): I will look for some runs in this game. Alfredo Simon was solid at the beginning of the year, but of late he has really struggled, allowing 18 ERs in his last 3 starts, posting an 11.05 ERA in that span. Hisashi had been know as a steady starter for the Mariners, but in 3 starts this year he has allowed 4 ERs in each game and if we go back to last year we note that he has a 7.44 ERA in his last 10 starts. So it is not just this year that he has struggled and I expect him to in this game vs a Detroit offense that has played well of late, despite the fact that Miggy is out. The Tigers have averaged 5.10 rpg in their last 10 and 5.6 in their last 5 games. I really can't see this team being held to 3 or less in this game. The Mariners Offense has not been good at all this year, but even they should be able to hit the struggling Simon and once he is out of there then they will have their chances vs a poor Detroit pen. 14.67 rg have been scored in Alfredo's last 3 starts and 9.29 rpg have been scored in his road starts this year. Hisashi is coming off the DL, Simon is in horrible form right now and these offenses should take advantage of that. I fully expect at least 10 runs to be scored in this game.
PITTSBURGH -134 over San Diego: The Pirates have not had a good time when playing the Padres at home of late as San Diego has won 36 of the last 52 games played here, but this is a different Pittsburgh team that is 26-15 at home this year. AJ Burnett comes enters this game in very good form as he has a 1.76 ERA in his last 5 starts and a skinny 1.29 ERA at home for the year. Shields is not in good form as he has a 7.03 ERA in his last 3 starts and a 4.71 ERA in his last 7, plus a very high 5.50 ERA on the road. The Pirates have done very well vs teams with losing records this year, gong 28-13 against and if we add that to the offensive edge, the pen edge and the edge on the mound then i find it very hard to think that Pittsburgh will lose this game.

New York +128 over SAN FRANCISCO: I am going to take a shot with the Mets here. This is a bad spot for the Giants, who played on the East coast last night, stayed there and then flew home this morning. This is a god situational spot to play the Mets. I know that Jon Niese is on the mound here for the Mets, but he has pitched better of late, posting a 2.70 ERA in his last 3 starts and despite going just 1-3 vs the Giants in his career he has a 2.97 ERA vs them. Chris Heston has pitched well this year for the Giants, but he is still 3-4 at home and the Mets will be looking to get some revenge for the No-hitter that he threw against them earlier in the year. I just can't see the Giants getting up for this game, especially with having to travel and play on the same day.
