Scott, Stephen and Ken take a look at 2 MLB games from tonight's card.
Chicago Cubs (-118, 7 U -120) vs New York Mets
Ken states he would stay away from Bartolo Colon because he is feast or famine. The Mets have been great at home, but have struggled vs winning teams in this park.
Lest does need to bring it up a notch or the Cubs have wasted money on him, just like the Red Sox have done on Porcello.
Stephen wonders if Lester is just an AL pitcher, because he has really struggled in the NL. He can't hold runners on and that is something that is more important in NL games. Ken does pass on this game.
NY Yankees (-106, 8 U15) vs LA Angels
It looks like the GM of the Halos is packing up his office and is leaving the team. He has had issues with Mike Scioscia in the past and it may have finally boiled over.
Money has come in on the Yanks, but Ken says he will not play them in Anaheim. They always seem to struggle there and have put up just 2 runs in the first 2 games of this series. Shoemaker has not been good this year, but he just can't pluck his money down on Eovaldi as a favorite.
Stephen states that the weird start time may be a signal to play the Under, because of the shadows that affect the hitters at that time of day in LA.
Scott states it really hasn't affected hitters more of late and he did make a free play on the over in this game.
