4-2 yesterday
I'll play all these as long as no one of importance is sitting.
Colorado +146…. I’m not sure Mike Leake and Cincy should be this heavily favored against anyone. This is more of a fade of Leake, than it is a play for the Rockies. Leake has been bad at home this year and poor during the daytime. Both of those are in play today. Kendrick on the other hand is no great shakes either. He had a rough April, but, has bounced back in May. Still carries a hefty ERA, but, Cincy is hitting so poor these days, I’m not sure it matters who is pitching. Cincy made a pitcher who was getting knocked around in the minors, look like Tom Seaver last night. The one thing that scares me is Cincy winning the way they did last night. That kind of ending could kick start something. But at this kind of plus money for the much better hitting team, I’ll take a chance.
Texas +154 over 8.5….Taking another big dog in this one. Both of these offenses are swinging the bats well. Couple that with both the pitchers are very hittable. Throw in a little sunshine and winds blowing out to center and we might see some runs today.
Pittsburgh -1.5 +125….Miami is in a tailspin. Brad Hand hasn’t pitched more than 2 innings since April 12th. Now he gets the face the hot hitting, and winners of 5 in row, Pirates. Cole gives them a great chance to keep the Miami off the scoreboard. Another 5-1 victory seems very possible.
San Fran +117….Vogelsong doesn’t want to see May come to an end. He has been nearly unhittable. 3-0, 1.05 era and .165 BAA. Those are all pretty decent. Mike Friers is going to go off 3 days rest after just pitching in Atlanta Saturday. Some pitchers are fine with little rest, others aren’t. We will see how he fares today vs a hot hitting team. Any time I get the better team, better pitcher, hotter bats, all at plus money I’ll take a chance
Good luck today
