LA Dodgers (-133, 6 U15) vs San Francisco Giants
Its Kershaw vs Bumgarner on the mound for this one. That is a solid pitching matchup.
Ellis, Either, Gonzalez and Rollins are hitting a combined .132 off of Bumgarner, while current Giant hitters are hitting just .180 off of Kershaw.
Matt states that the Giants have owned LA of late and have outscored LA 18-6 at home for the year. The Dodgers are 22-8 vs the rest of MLB, but just 2-6 vs the Giants. Kershaw is 14-6 with a 1.51 ERA in his career vs the Giants, while in San Fran he is 8-2 with a 0.97 ERA. He has allowed 2 ERs or fewer in 19 consecutive starts vs the Giants, but the Dodgers are just 10-9 in those 19 games. Bumgarner is 8-3 with a 1.94 ERA in his last 12 starts vs the Dodgers. Matt feels the Under is the way to go here.
Dave agrees, especially with neither team being able to hit today's starters. He would lean giants as far as the side and it really looks like a 3-2 type of game.
