Good morning Pregame! Last night was still a losing night. Very frustrating to see two potential victories vaporize in the 8th inning. Still got 2 W's, plus there was a rainout thrown in, so it was not a total disaster last night. Overall, 2-4, down 1.65 units. Still gotta do better. I am back with 4 plays tonight as follows:
Detroit ML +103 Greene is better than people give him credit for, and the White Sox are the lowest producing offense in the AL (they average a run per game less than anyone else in the league). I'll take my chances here.
Atlanta -1.5 +145
San Diego -1.5 +140 I've never been a Vogelsong fan, and Cashner's numbers are better than a 1-4 record indicate.
Milwaukee ML +144 Grienke's line against the Brew Crew the last two seasons: 0-2, 5.40 ERA, 1.87 WHIP, .317 BAA. The Brewers have put it to him. Of course, I used this same logic last Friday in taking the Cards over Pittsburgh (AJ Burnett's #'s against St Louis in Busch were much worse), and the Cards got what, 2 hits on him? For a game that is so numbers oriented, you sure can't trust them much when handicapping. Having said all that, these #'s do stand out as they are the exception, not the rule against Greinke. Brewers ML.
