What an exciting game this is going to be. I've been debating for a couple days now and finally feel I have the numbers correct. I've read from others exactly my thoughts concerning Lester and this being why the A's traded for him late in the season. It all makes sense and I nearly went on that side before finally coming up with a game plan that I feel is close to how it will be played out. The end result is a complete game from Shields and a awesome victory for the Royals. Both pitchers have ran through each teams batters and have had great success, but only one can come out with the W tonight and I feel very strongly that will be Shields and the Royals. I believe Reddick will account for the only runs batted in for Oakland tonight. I have him going deep for a solo and batting a run in on a double in the 4th- the solo shot coming in the 7th inning. Here's a break down of the game by inning how I have it. Obviously this is only opinion, but I feel like it's very close to what we get tonight.
