Good afternoon..those who have been following on http://twitter.com/vegasrunner know that I've hooked up with a new source that moves steam for a very respected betting syndicate that gets down on PROPS, MATCH-UPS, etc..

And more importantly, their results have been absolutely ridiculous so I thought I'd go ahead and try to share what time permits with the forum community as well..

Keep in mind for almost all of them I have very little opionion but have done well enough piggy-backing to follow blindly..Whenever possible I get them up well before the lines move but when that's not possible I still post some for those who do "In-Game", "2nd Halfs", etc..

When I say to take these plays with a grain of salt, I truly mean it. All the work has been done, but the last few days have been miserable (colder than a witch's tit) and I am really not sure why? We will turn this around hopefully sooner rather than later. Get 'em, Pregamers!

**Los Angeles Dodgers/Atlanta Braves Over 8 (-110) ~ Play based on the fact that the Dodgers are the #1 offensive team vs LHP and Magill will give up at least a few to the Bravos, IMO.

San Diego Padres (-127) ~ Not sold on Haren and the Pads are tough at Petco.

Colorado Rockies (-120) ~ Not sure how quickly Zito rebounds?

**Cleveland Indians (-110) ~ Masterson very effective in day games allowing only a .190 BAA and 1 HR in 22+IP. Likely a solid Under look with Felix on the other side? Justin has never lost to the M's.

Cleveland Indians -1½ (+180) ~ Tough call with the King on the hill and Masterson's past May issues. I think that the Tribe touches Felix up a bit today.

**Tampa Bay Rays (-110) ~ Moore and the O's struggles with LHP make the Rays a play here. Expect them to score a handful for his benefit.

Chicago White Sox (+103) ~ Peavy gets the nod.

Oakland Athletics -1½ (+135) ~ Mendoza has not impressed, although Griffin underachieving. Likely see some runs today.

Houston Astros (+165) Howlin' Dog Play ~ Oddly enough, the Astros rank 4th offensively vs LHP with a .350 OBP. Harrell capable of shutting down the Bucco bats.

The Snakes look like a mail-in today, but something seems a bit fishy. With Miley's past success and the Marlins' futility vs LHP this line should be at least -175, IMO.

Doug Fister is certainly having a good season for the Tigers. However, history shows he doesn’t have the best of times in Arlington. Both of Fister’s road starts against Texas have resulted in losses. In those losses, Fister allowed 14 runs off 19 hits. This doesn’t bode well for a Detroit team that can’t seem to keep up with Texas in this series. Holland will throw for the Rangers and he is absolutely solid at home with a 1.57 ERA. I like the Rangers tonight.

2* Yankees ML -135

The Blue Jays struggle at Yankee Stadium, and CC Sabathia shouldn’t help matters for them today. Sabathia is 14-4 against the Jays, and I expect the Yankees to sweep Toronto for the second time this season.

1* Giants ML +111

Barry Zito has had really good success against Colorado over the years winning six straight decisions including a 4-hitter in his last outing at Coors Field. The Giants should be able to rack up some runs with Nicasio on the hill, as he struggled in his last outing and has not had great luck against the Giants over his career.

Phillies plus $1.20 hosting Reds

Homer Bailey is overpriced here. Bailey has been inconsisent his whole career. But he's a mid-size road favorite in this matchup based partly on his last performance. That came against the weak-hitting Marlins this past Tuesday. Bailey went the distance throwing a six-hitter with a career-high 10 strikeouts in a 6-2 victory. He also threw a career-high 125 pitches.

That is going to come back and bite him here.

Bailey wasn't in good form until facing the Marlins, who rank last in nearly every major offensive category including runs, homers and batting average. He was 0-1 with a 6.97 ERA in his two previous starts before his outing against Miami.

The Phillies have been tough as an underdog winning nine of the last 13 times in that role. They saw Bailey a month ago. Bailey pitched well against Philadelphia in that start, but he's 0-3 with a 4.24 ERA lifetime against the Phillies.

Philadelphia starter Jonathan Pettibone has done a nice job since coming up to the majors going 3-0. He's been at his best at home compiling a 2.45 ERA with a 12-to-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 18 1/3 innings.

The Reds have been playing much better on the road, but they still have a losing away mark. They also historically have had trouble at Citizens Bank going 12-23 in their past 35 games there.

On the handicapping front, I cashed my National League Game of the Month yesterday with the Diamondbacks, although the game was far closer than I thought it would be. I am 14-4 on my last 18 paid baseball plays and 13-7 on my last 20 NBA playoff plays.

Not sure of George Hill's status until right near tip-off, I passed on yesterday's Knicks-Pacers matchup. I'm back in NBA action today with a play on the Grizzlies-Spurs and I also have a Triple Star play going on tonight's Tigers-Rangers Sunday night ESPN game.
